De Umbrae
The Township De Umbrae
A novel that is in the works!
De Umbrae, meaning “of the ghosts”, is the strangest place you’ll ever visit. Every type of anomaly and being is found in the Township. The Princess Amelia the III was sent out by her parents, our Queen and King, to survey and live amongst the people of a chosen city and understand her subjects, so that she might one-day rule as Queen Supreme of the Land. A woman of willful desires and a yearning for adventure, she selects the province of The Township De Umbrae. The Queen and King lifted their hands, and much to their better knowledge, allow her that selection. Oh what fun! De Umbrae has it all, fighting, torture, revenge, giants, monsters, chases, escapes, true love, miracles…
Meanwhile Doktor Volker Tottenbach finds himself bored out of his skull and in malaise with his practice in the Township De Umbrae. He wants more from his life than the day-to-day doctoring of the bizarre patients in the village. With a haunting and gruesome past as a Nazi bioweapons creator, he spends each day trying his hardest to help those he had once tormented out of curiosity. A man of a kind but cold bedside manner, he strives to improve himself. He makes unlikely friends and enemies in the strange Township..

Madam Macadamia is something of a mad-scientist, a roboticist and toy-maker in the year 2077. After becoming the wealthiest woman and one of the grandest manufacturing moguls in the galaxy, she neglects her corporation and goes in pursuit of entertaining herself and tinkering in her mechanical wonderland. She gives the reigns to her “money people”, whom, she discovers, have ruined her company. Macadamia finds nothing is in her control and looses everything she worked for.
Well, almost everything.
Her loyal, but often taken for granted secretary Melissa becomes the voice of reason and a loving friend. She reluctantly lets the cheesy, often creepy, but persistent Mandax Catgroove “help” her and follow her journey. She enlists the help of a priest to get her life strait, but is unexpectedly allocated an Androidgelican priest, Kek Fredrick, who though kind, has a darker past than his godly personality reveals. Her old friend, the very powerful Sir Andrew von Nubis, continues to support and give her company. She also adopts an abandoned little red-headed android girl, Adeline, who warms her heart and gives her compassion and redemption.
Now Macadamia will win back her empire… and more…

I have had this character for over 5 years- over time changing and evolving. Essentially, she is the megalomaniac Empress of the universe and the 13 dimensions. She is eccentric and strange, loud and dark.

Regular Business Professionals follows the adventures of Bill the centaur. He works at the global Alicorn Marketing Agency as an Account Management Director. He wears a tailored grey suit accentuating his clean-cut look, broad shoulders, and mighty flanks. Bill is a regular business professional.
Bill also has co-workers, and friends, which are also “Mythos” or individuals of mythological species. Centaurs, like Steve, make up a good chunk of the staff, like Steve, Bill’s closest friend and the CFO of Alicorn Enterprises, Ester the zebra centaur, the Creative Director, and the loud and old-fashioned founder, Pappy Dan. The Alicorn staff also has a Mythos Resources person- Gertrude, the obnoxious, nagging and condescending harpy. Even the strange and often perceived violent and gross cyclops, work at Alicorn Enterprises. Doug the Audit, another friend of Bill. Cheeky, uppity Nymphs glide through the building, and Mr.Alicorn is saddened by the fact that no-one believes in him.

Regular Business Professionals is a comic that I originally conceived in early 2016, actually while reading the Odyssey by Homer. Greek mythological races and characters inspired me to create the comic. Centaurs, Nymphs, Pans, Cyclops, and even a Quetzalcoatl.
I will try to release more material- there is a cornucopia of work and writing.
